| The Anybodies By N.E. Bode |
This is a book about a girl named Fern. Fern lives with boring (with a capital B) parents. Then she found her real father. Then Fern goes on an adventure with books, her grandma, and her mother. I love this book because of the wonderful illustrations and descriptions. The author used a lot of parentheses to write side thoughts. In the book, I realized something interesting. In
The Anybodies the illustrations looked familiar to my other favorite book, a series called
The Sisters Grimm. Then I found out, it
was illustrated by the same illustrator-Peter Ferguson! On a scale from 1 to 10, I give it a 7. I recommend this book to people who love adventure and fairytale-like stories.
